Teen Tech Tutors: Drop-in Tech help – July 19 and 1st and 3rd Friday of each month

Get help with your computer, smartphone or other device working one-on-one with the library’s great teen volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Faith Explorations, an Interfaith Works summer camp, is free and open to children in grades 2-6. From July 22-26 9AM-3 PM, kids will experience interfaith programming exploring peace and go on excursions to local parks. Location – Temple Beth Hatfiloh, 201 8th Ave SE, Olympia

Burnt ridge Nursery in Onalaska is hosting Summer Farm Tours on July 20 and August 17, with an additional date in September to be announced. Burnt Ridge founder and co-owner Michael Dolan will lead each tour of the 20 acre farm and nursery, focusing on diverse fruit and nut crops that can be grown organically in our region. Sample plates of fresh, seasonal fruits will be provided and fruit, jam, live plants and more will be available for purchase after the tour.

There are 2 tours per day, at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Ticket must be purchased in advance, $15 each, $35 for a party of three & $40 for a party of four. Tickets and more information available at https://www.burntridgenursery.com/Farm-Tours/products/165/ or by calling 360-985-2873.

Dana Lyons, songwriter for the environment and creator of “Cows with Guns,” will be performing in an outdoor backyard concert in Olympia on his Cracks in the Heartland tour on August 16. 5:30 PM Potluck and 6:30 PM Concert.
