No Kings Protest Will Bring Thousands to State Capitol on 10/18

Who: Organized by Olympia Indivisible and Evergreen Resistance.

What: Peaceful pro-democracy rally with thousands of attendees

against the backdrop of the historic Washington State Capitol Campus. The event includes speakers (with ASL interpretation), musical performances, sign-waving, a vehicle brigade, community tabling, a Handmaids Tale troupe, and more.

When: Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12-3:00 p.m.

Why: Washingtonians are joining a nationwide day of peaceful, lawful protests against federal abuses of power.

We are united in affirming the fundamental freedoms and constitutional protections of Americas democratic system, by and for the people. America has no kings!

On June 14, more than five million people across all 50 states joined No Kings in the largest single-day protest to date against President Trumps authoritarianism. Over 5,000 people attended Olympias event. On October 18, we will return to the Capitol to stand up for our democracy. #NoKingsOlympia

A core principle behind all No Kings and 50501 events is a commitment to nonviolent action and community safety.
