Solidarity Bloc Night: 730 Days of Injustice 4 Yvonne McDonald

August 7 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm PDT

It is Yvonne McDonalds Angelversary. So there will be a Solidarity Bloc Night/Rally: 730 Days of Injustice
On August 7th, we are calling for the biggest “Mom/Dad etc. Bloc night” we have ever had in Olympia. We are demanding that Cheryl Selby, Gary Warnock, John Tunheim and Ryan Donald all be investigated by the Attorney General. We demand that the officials RESIGN and for Ryan Donald to be fired. We are asking for all of the blocs (Mom, Dad, Leafblowers, Vets, etc. etc.) you can think of to show up in solidarity with the family of Yvonne McDonald, and the family of André Thompson and Bryson Chaplin, and WEAR YELLOW for this night.
On this day in particular, it will have been 730 days since Yvonne McDonald was murdered. Yvonne McDonald was left fighting for her life after being struck by a vehicle. A City of Olympia Street sweeper reported that he found her already injured, yet he never called 911 and he also left her the scene. He nor the Officer who arrived on the scene gave her any type of first aid or CPR.All of the men at the scene told different stories. There still has been NO justice served. Thurston County will not even release full records from the case to her family. Justice For Yvonne McDonald is asking the community to show up like never before. We want at least 730 people out to this event physically and even more (between actually being there and present on the livestreams).
We are creating this event because the demands laid by Justice for Yvonne have been ignored many times by Mayor Cheryl Selby, Prosecutor John Tunheim, and Coroner Gary Warnock. Their actions along with others including The Olympia PD, Medic One and TCOMM need to be looked into by another agency. The Attorney General or agency appointed by the governor must conduct an independentinvestigation. Both Cases Yvonne McDonald and the racist shooting of André Thompson and Bryson Chaplin must be re investigated. Both brothers were shot, one is permanently paralyzed. Officer Ryan Donald is STILL with Oly PD. We ask that everyone showing up in whatever groups you find WEAR YELLOW for solidarity with the families. We are demanding that Reparations be made.
Please show support for the families, share this link and tell everyone you know! Keep an eye out for fundraiser links and tshirts for sale that will benefit the families to be worn for this event.
